I've ran 40s on my Mustangs. They're not too terribly loud as long as you run a catted pipe. When I went with an ORX, they were very loud. Sounded good though. I have no idea how they will sound on a Balt. I've got an off set magnaflow muffler that I just took off my car so I could install a gmpp catback. I'll let the magnaflow muffler go for cheap if you want to try it out. You can hear it on youtube under "mach1spd" if you're interested.

Yeah my old GT had a Super 40s and it was really load. Think the GMPP catback will make a diff being 2.25?

Not really. It does have mandrel bends over what I had, but not enough to make more than a a couple/few extra horses difference. The biggest thing is that it weighs literally half as much as the custom set-up I had with the heavy glasspack and magnaflow muffler. Sounds better too.
