You will still need a harness for the green tops but they are a good injector. You won't be able to make much power on them though.

yea you will need a whole new harness for the same injectors and if you get a diff size then you need the harness and a tune

many people go this route when they switch to 60's

Why don't you just buy 60's with a harness? They are $230. Used injectors can be a headache sometimes, and if you splice the wires it will cost almost the same if you count your time.

my 42's that I had put in, (replaced with 60's a year later) were Ford Injectors. They clipped right into our harness if I remember correctly. I think zip ties were usedto hold it on there though, as they didnt "lock" in. Sounds ghetto, and it was, wich is why once I learned I had 60's installed and Spooner tune for them. It worked though, drove the car for a year like that, never a problem.

Hell they are sitting here in a box, give me ten bucks and shipping and they are yours....

You don't need 72's because no lsj will ever make more than 500hp...flame shield on!

PS-->Plugs are not injectors...

I didn't read to much on this thread, just your opening statement. I make injectors at delphi and a lot of them look identical, just as the connecting pods are all exactly the same through any manufactuer (ford rousch, chevy, kia..) I wouldn't just start plug and playing injectors though, they have different leak rates, calibrated at different intervals all creating different dynamic and static flow. Some have different sized filters as well. ( If i didn't answer your question im sorry, haaha thats just what i got when i read it quick)

Without any other fueling sources 60's will be maxed at around 320whp on stock fuel pressure.

I'm not.... ever heard of safety? Injectors are not supposed to be run above 80% idc's it's an industry standard, doing so is just foolish.
