friend just got the stage two and problem....

the car stumbles under throttle and the check engine light came on, also the car doesn't pull. when he got back home he noticed a hose had been unplugged and he plugged it in the most obvious place he saw but im thinking the tech messed up. i have a pic:

are these two hose supposed to be the other way around?
they are the ones on the WGA looking thing.

Try it now that it's all plugged in and that looks right. Check the plugs too. What are they, what's the gap?

And that's a By-Pass Valve (BPV), not a WGA

.040 is a pretty large gap, you might get some blowout with that.

Stop right there.

1) Take out the Pul-somethings (Pulsar, w/e)

2) Get A set of copper 1 step cloder NGK's, they used to be BKR7E's, but NGK changed the part number

3) Gap at 36-40, w/e feels the best

so the code was a p0300 most likley.....and those vaccum lines for the by-pass actuator that were unplugged could easily cause that, since unmetered air is entering the motor. Plug it all up right, and go take it for a spin.

he said it was two cylinders misfiring. also can getting those two vac lines swiched going to the BPV cause cylnders to misfire?

Hey, just noticed you have an MSP. Nice, my friend has a metallic gray (don't recall the color name) with an intake, open dp, hardpipes, and FMIC.

Pretty rare car!
