Front driveline power loss ...

Hi guys, what do you think of this ...

Usually, the power loss in the front driveline for a front wheel drive car is about 16 %, let's see ...

2003 Acura RSX Type S : 200 BHP, 168 WHP, 16 % lost
2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP SC : 240 BHP, 203 WHP, 16 % lost¸

The stock WHP for the cobalt SS (in 4th gear) is about 205 to 210 WHP, if you add 16 % is means that the motor makes between 238 and 244 BHP; bone stock.

If the 18 PSI boost PSI-FI Kit makes 244 WHP in 3th gear, it makes about 238 WHP in 4th gear, so the motor is good for 276 BHP (238 WHP + 16%).

To make 300 BHP, you'll need to dyno at about 255 WHP in 4th gear.

Is that making any sense ?

Have a nice day !
