Front Mount H/E Bleeding Air from Intercooler Coolant System

So,
Finally got my new FMH/E in, complete with a new IC pump, great!

I refilled the IC coolant with the car off first. I started by unbolting the bleeder bolt in the stock H/E, I filled up the filler tube until coolant started pissing out of the bleeder hole. I then put the bolt back in the bleeder hole and filled the system from the filler tube.

Next, I fired up the car, and continued filling the filler tube for the intercooler coolant.

Did I screw up? I am worried that the car should have been started for the initial fill and bleed? I did notice a lot of air bubbles coming out of the bleeder hole when I bled it with the car off, I only stopped pouring coolant in the tube when I stopped seeing air bubbles bleeding out.

Do I need to re-do the bleeding? Or, should I just continue to drive around and top off the intercooler coolant at gas stations? So far I've had to add about 350ml of coolant after driving approximately 60 miles, initially when I filled the system it took about 1.5L of coolant before it started showing in the filler tube's neck.

Any advice is appreciated!!

This is where an Option B would take the guess work out of it.. its a pain to try to get the air out with that fill tube... I done the same thing your doing... just ended up getting a kit.. from ZZP.

It'd be nice if a kit was an option at this point, but it's not I really wanted an Option B, damnit.

Anyway, I guess I should just keep driving around and filling it up until it stops taking coolant. Air must be bleeding now as I am having to add more coolant regularly...
