Front o2 Sensor

Ok pretty simple question and hopefully someone know. My front o2 wires have taken a beating because of it being in and out doing the exhaust. Question is I got a deal on a brand new one. Do the stock sensors need to be calibrated kinda like the widebands or can you just screw em in and plug em in and the computer will be fine.

Who knows?

anyone

i know a lot of techs dont know everything but the dealership said they needed the tech 2 to reprogram it. I had no clue why so i figured id ask on here

Think! if it need to be calibrated it then everytime you took it out your exhaust to do whatever you where doing you would have to recalibrate it cause thats what you do with a wideband everytime its out of the exhaust your have to recalibrate it.

plug in and drive.

be happy you dont have one of the new hondas, the new accord runs two factory widebands, list price. $1100

they make even our bosh wideband units look like jokes.

look at the bright side you can just go buy a 50 guage and not worrying about buying a wideband.

Well per the info you are suppose to. And if i take out LC-1 and not recalibrate it, it messes up afer a couple of days.
