Hey guys, I was wondering would it be better to get a fuel pressure regulator, or a fuel pump voltage booster? Also were can i find these items, one of my buddies said if you boost the voltage to the fuel pump, it is easy horsepower..... is he right?

Well let me tell you what I have read from others

We have a returnless system that runs at ~60psi. Wopontour has some instruction on how to wire up a boost a pump, however the pressure regulator in tank will still put a damper on the setup. You need to convert to a return sytle if you wanna be able to control the fuel pressure the best.....

Returnless means there is not return line to the tank for the fule that is not used. THis style system is cheaper to make but you have the problem of not being able to control the fule presser.
Most cars use a return style system that can be more easly upgraded but they cost to make it is higher.

GM said that the fule pump is good to 400Hp and that the fule line can flow enuff for 600hp.

I dont realy think we need to do anything with it untill we can brake them #s realy.

Returnless style keep the pressure regulator in the tank and the pressure is hard to adjust because you can't really mod the regulator since it is in the tank. With a return style the regulator is up front with the fuel rail and you can more easily change the pressure with an FMU or adjustable regulator.
