i'm not a big fan of anything over the 2.7 and even the 2.7 i think the hp gains are low compared to the extra heat getting brought to the table and chances for something letting loose. you run windshield fulid, water, meth or mix?

if i was going to road race the car. i would drop down to the stage 2 pulley. there is way too much heat with the 2.7 i changed to the 2.7 for the torque. it picked up 11 ft lbs and 7 hp with that compared to the 2.8 now it's onto cooling mods. dual pass, bigger h/e. something to help it out a bit more. cruising it sits about 11 degree's above ambient after the blower. which is normal for any pulley size. it is just when to start to shove 18.75 psi through the intake manifold that the heat rears it's ugly head.

honestly bro 3inch pully and a 50 shot sounds like it would be a beast setup.

nice numbers...

i enjoy reading through your threads. instead of throwing all the mods at your car at once you have gone one thing at time. tweaking the **** out of these maps for everything they are worth. to you. keep up the good work.

what do your iat2 temps look like? yes i know you have meth, just wondering.

on a 0-120 mph pass they are hitting 127 degree's ambient temp is about 55 or so. nice heat creation. i wanted more torque. so i dropped down from the 2.8 to the 2.7 now to bug the local cobra guys for their h/e

im lookin for a stock one. i know i can get it for under 100 bucks. im not going overboard with the car. i have other pullies i can put on it if needed. which i will probably do in the summer time just to get rid of some of the heat. dunno. we shall see when that time comes.

it's a mutated snow performance kit. activation is via pressure switch/hobbs switch. kicks on at 5 psi i think. i lowered, i just never tested it

the weather is way too iffy here to do anything stupid. what afr are you running?

why do i ask? because the afr i ran on the dyno. you won't come anywhere close to 28*

Intesting thread indeed. I'll keep my eye on this one.

Area, with a polished supercharger, and a bigger throttle body aka Rebel's Deal and my mods (assuming I get them all installed) what could I expect to put down on a dyno?
