I go through ~$70 of gas in a week. Losing a 100 miles on a full tank of gas that recommends premium is kind of starting to hurt (22 MPG on the SS compared to 29 MPG on the G5). Vander, Premium is 'recommended'. The way I look at it, you paid for a performance car (and your auto insurance claims it as a sports car as well ROFL), so why buy a 'performance' car and use 'regular' gas? *confused* You can run lower octane, you just won't get the full bang like you want. It's like humping a dead *****. If you paid for one, wouldn't rather hump the one that is alive?

~26 with mostly highway miles.

How many of you are using the dash monitor versus taking your mileage and dividing by how much you put in the tank? The monitor isn't accurate.

Dash computer says 26.4 mpg. Probably better, but i have a heavy foot when it comes to on-ramps and back roads so that number wont stay like that for long. But id say im usually over 20 average no matter how i drive.

ALWAYS do at least 91. I've never filled my car with anything less than 93

80's like to through off the mileage computer A LOT.

I have 80's and my actual highway mpg's is 29ish. Around town probably low-mid 20's. Before that, when I had my Stage 2 setup I was seeing about 32-34 highway

You guys running stage 2 and up are STILL getting high 20's gas mileage? I assume this is because your staying off the boost and just running the motor?

Makes perfect sense. Upgrade the power and not use it j/k

Better fuel maps? Which makes me wonder why GM didn't use these in the first place. (i.e. GM stage 1 turbo upgrade, people are reporting BETTER gas mileage O.o).

I figured out why I only got 19mpg..... I decided to pull my factory plugs out @ 53k miles, and found out that GM decided not to torque down plugs 2 & 3. They were kinda just chillin there. Anyway, I replaced them with new ones, and torqued them down. I have more power now, so I am sure my fuel economy has also changed. What do you think?
