Gas question.
Gas question.
I got my SS/SC Cobalt 2 days ago and it had a full tank of gas, and I had to drive about 100 miles to get it home and drove it alot that day/night but yesterday I filled my tank up with 93 and I am already about to hit below a 1/4 tank and drove only about 150 miles. It that right or does the car have to be broke in before i'll get good gas mileage. I know it's a pretty dumb question but I was just wondering.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Your car will get better gas as time goes on but that seems pretty low. After I had 500 miles on my car I started getting 26 mpg highway/city driving. Does the car run rough, idle rough, or blow smoke?

Where are you located?
Many parts of the country run a winter fuel blend....it has alcohol in it. Check the pump next time you fill up.
This fuel will result in about a 2mpg loss in fuel economy.
I was getting 26 (as indicated) before we switched to the winter crap, now I'm at 24mpg.
Cold weather will get you worse mileage as well.

And to the guy, my foot isn't on the floor. I've ran it hard 2 times since i've had it and I don't think that'll decrease my MPG.
