you wont be able to run option b and this because they mount in the same place. i suggest you try this on the stock endplate because my buddy black06ss is running this, and the CA heat exchanger and LOVES IT. its worth a shot. let me know if you want on the list

do you have the extra heat exchanger as the 2nd or 1st one in the system?

chandler, keep in mind we re-routed yours. if they are running the additional heat exchanger after the OE one, hoses will run exactly the same

MUCH MUCH MUCH more coolant. The key to this setup is to have so much volume that it takes FOREVER for it to heat up. Thus, never getting heat soaked. The old rule, more is USUALLY better Innovators like this are what make the ss/sc great and fun to own. Also, these will most certainly help us increase our credability amongst the other boosted 4 bangers. I have been working on some projects for our ss/sc's on my own as well and they should be available soon and seeing stuff like this just gives me great hope. You have done a great service here.

the reason this is different than option B is because with option b, as stated before, the coolant isnt actually flowing through it so its not extra coolant in the system just extra space for expansion.

yes, thats the one. i put a pipe fitting in place of teh plug and ran the line to the resivoir. then ran another line back into a T fitting on one of the stock hoses.
Theres like 4 possible openings on that particular resivoir. just cut the little end nubs off. one is my vent, one is feed, one is return.
However at the moment im just using it as an "option B" cuz i had a leak in the return line and need time to get another hose.

So this wont work with an aftermarket H/E? (Running with the stock one too.) Pretty much I'm asking, how much more cooling would this benefit with the stock H/E, this mod, and an aftermarket H/E?

You most definately CAN use this with an additional H/E. as stated already in this thread black06ss is running the CA heat exchanger in addtion to this factory one. He saw a VERY noticeable difference in his car that is running a 2.7 pulley. If you are running the factory H/E as the first in the system (like stock) then you will run the hoses EXACTLY the same as running this on a completely stock system.

im using"VersaChem Flowable Sealant Clear Windshield and Glass Sealer" its in a white and blue squeeze tube from O'Reillys. I sealed up these 5 tanks last night and let them dry over night, im very happy with how strong the bonds feel now.

for the buyers, you def. dont have to worry about anything rattling around haha. tight fit (good thing) and the jug is in the middle so it should be very well cushioned.

the elbow connects to the hose with the T-connector in it. the length people desire on this may vary pending slight mounting variances. so i left an extra 8 inches or so for people to determine exactly how long that end needs to be. simply cut, and slide it on to the end. do this before you connect the elbow to the tank so you are not stressing the joint while you measure and what not. the elbow can not go right onto the tank because there is no connector to do such thing. make sense?
