general questions

well i think ive made up my mind on an 06 SS/SC for those of you that remember my post on the SS SC or the 06 WRX...only because the price difference and i figured i wanted the cobalt first ill stick with it cuz i wont be as happy....few questions

the LSD package can you get it without the seat or no? (as in just LSD), not sure if many people know the answer to that...

Also for those of you with 06 SS SC, list any problems you have had with your car...i noticed on the forum between 05 and 06 you dont see many problems with the 06 only the 05. which usually is the case since the first year the car was made....thanx

oh and also for those of you with the LSD is it a noticible difference, does it actually work? or is it a crapy LSD that kinda just sits there and serves no purpose but to add to the wheel hop...(is the package worth it)?

and a fun question for the stage 2 guys...can it spin in a second gear roll or no? lol ( i only ask cuz the cavy can and i need that again, its addicting and intimidating)

thanx again

No, you can't get it without the Recaros. But get the package anyway, and then trade seats with someone. Lots of people want the Recaros, so you could still get the regular seats and then make a couple hundred bucks off of them in exchange for some stock seats.

It should be a great LSD, it's a Quaife unit which are some of the best on the market. You should definitely feel a difference. I can't personally speak for straight line driving, but there's a very noticable difference when accelerating through corners.

I have the 06 ss/sc g85... only prob is the door rubbing on the sill and a weird idle occasionally... bringin it in on monday for service... lsd works great in a straight line ... no torque steer is def a bonus, I normally can't stand front drive... but it makes it a lot better... as for the stage II.... still waiting for mine to come in.
