Get the whine back

So I have a injen intake and I loved the way it heightened the s/c sound. I however, got a GMPP Performance exhaust...and now its completly drowned out...can barely hear it at all. How loud do you think it would become with a 2.9 belt and stage kit? Think it would make a difference at all or am I stuck removing the exhaust and going back to stock?

pluging the silencer holes will def. help, porting will also help, and dropping pully size might also help a little bit

much smaller muffler = louder exhaust, despite the smaller diameter

I had a 2.7 and 3" exhaust... I couldn't hear the blower down low but as the RPMs went up I heard her scream again!

well, after looking through the how-to...I'm not going to attempt to do this.

Guess that means my only option is to go to a smaller pulley. Its a daily driver so I dont really need anything exceptional, maybe a 2.9. I dont race really, though I do like to just punch it now and then. I just want to hear my whine again...

2.8 with no cooling mods really mean as far as im aware that u will heatsoak and that will prevent you from making as much power as you could with the cooling mods so yeah. get it and dont get crazy doing like 5 pulls back to back if u ever to any lol until u get like a extra h.e or so
