getting to the intake

quickest way to the intake and filter? i have to get the damn car up and take the wheel off dont i?

Yup. Then you have to take off the splash guard in the wheel well to get at the filter housing.

Doh! Beaten to the post!

you could always take the right tire off, then the liner, then the engine, remove the hood, then the bumper, dont forget to remove the wiper fluid cap.. then you can get right too it.. lol..

getting to the filter in these things are a real bitch.. the designer of that should be shot in the foot...

it's really not that bad. expect to spend a couple of hours for doing it the first time. really helps if you have an impact gun to take the wheel off :P

Yeah I agree with you a few weeks ago when I did min I read some of the posts on here and was expecting trouble and I really didn't have any at all.

Ah hell, when I put my intake on, I pulled the bumper off. Only took about an hour and a half total, and the funny thing is, my bumper lines up better now!
