getting stage 2 installed today!

called up the dealer and made an appointment to get my stage 2 kit installed today. any special i should ask for/tell the guy when i drop off my car? i'm not expecting any problems or issues, it's at the biggest chevy dealer here in rhode island, but there's always that 'what if' in the back of my head.

make sure they do the reflash right. When you get in your car, redline it and make sure it cuts off at 7K rpm and not 6,500. If it doesnt then they f'ed up and get them to fix it.

Also when you get home break the blue pulley bolts loose and then re tighten . If your dealer used locktite it will make it alot easier to switch to a smaller pulley in the future.

all my suggestions are already said. and they are all very good.

-check for 7k redline asap
-make sure you go home with all your old parts, and the new socket bits and paperwork.
-when you get home use that new bit to break loose your bolts, and then retighten to 15-20lbs

welp, may be tuesday when i get to try this. NOT happy. dropped it off at 11:15 in the morning. didnt' hear from them, tried calling them at 4, didn't get in touch with anyone in service. decided to drive up and see how it was going, got there around 4:30, the guy said they were just about done (okay, whatever, no biggy just get it done i'm thinking), they still had to call in and do the reflash.

just before 5, he comes walking out to me, says they tried calling multiple times and all they got was voicemail, can't do the reflash. okay, it's 5pm, car was dropped off at 11:15am. they waited till 5 to call? wtf. if i'm lucky they'll get it done tomorrow (all thats left is the reflash. least i know they should be doing the right one in this case). they close at 12. closed sunday. i work 12 hour shifts at night, i really don't want to drive up after my shift monday, cause i still have to go in monday night.

i'm really not happy at all.
