They all laughed at the Wright brothers when they said they could fly... I think he's on to something. The problem with your concept is you're adding too much air restriction to the gap with those zipties. What you do is remove the hoodlatch completely and use just 1 ziptie. This will surely yield better gains.

I can't believe you guys are doing "pulls" in this weather. No wonder everybody is blowing up their LSJs........when you put smaller pulleys on them then rag the **** out of them in 30 degree weather its no suprise when it leans out and goes BOOM.

When it's cold outside your intake is sucking up that cold air and in turn making your supercharger feel cold. But guess what, hook a scanner up and see what your IAT2's look like after that same run.
