what are you talking about. You get the reflash done at your local dealer.

I think I'm gonna wait a little while longer while everyone flips out about the kits MAYBE coming out here and MAYBE coming out there. I'll watch the first guinea pigs throw them on without knowing about whether or not that reflash is up-to-date. Once some engines blow--or don't blow--I'll step up to the cash register. Not a sissy, but I'm also not that anxious that I'll lose my money to something that isn't concrete yet.

Yeah, to be honest, I'm starting to have second thoughts about the GM stage kits already, and no one even has them yet. I'm beginning to think the RevItUp kit is gonna be pretty promising in the near future, and their method of approach for installation is pretty solid from what I understand. I'm gonna stay away from the Intense stage 3 kit, though.

But I just broke 3200 miles, and I've only had the car since the beginning of the year. I'm not about to blow my 6 year warranty just for a bit more speed yet.

I walked back and saw my parts manager today. I saw him type in the part number for the stage 2 kit, it said "Available for order 3/20/06" on the screen....

Forget about making 270 WHP with the GM stage 2 kit. How do you think a 3.1" pulley with only 14 PSI can make that kind of power, since bigger injectors don't make more horsepower !!! GM stages calibrations will be on the richest and safest side, not for maximum power !

i think it's doable, the kits like our cars i think are underated. Cars are 205 - more like 210 -220. Kits are supposed to be 245 more like 250 - 260. With true full exhaust 270 might be possible. Once again this half hope / half ricer math. We'll have to wait and see.

But since I run 13 PSI stock I guareentee my PSI will be above 14 PSI after the kits.

Awesome find but it seems rather expensive... Stage 1 $499 and JBP is going to sell it for $581 and Stage 2 $750 and JBP is going to sell it for $881

I definetly didn't spend 1200 bux on my stage 2, I am getting it for the employee cost at a dealer. I will probably pay to have it installed since if I install it myself I have to pay to have it towed to the dealer to get reflashed.

Why would u need to have it towed? You wouldn't buy the kit have it re-flashed and then take it home to install the parts?

You can get aftermarket stuff discounted w/ the employee status. I'll have to talk to my Grandpa and see how that works.
