GM Stage 1/2 Thread: Merged
The cost of install is anywhere from $60-$90 an hour depending on where you live. Estimated intstallation time is 1.5 hours. As far as waiting to get the results. What do you think is going to happen when you put a smaller pulley on your SC , install BIGGER fuel injectors and tell the computer to run ***** deep??

dont exspect to much from the tune..
based off the "quoted" numbers from pages of how much the kits will give .. i expect the tune is just tweaking the a/f curves but more then likely it is mainly going to get rid of CELS caused by the greater airflow (CAI cels will be fixed also i will assume)
estimated 30hp more then stock with a pully they are swapping it with.. the pully is where all the power is.. none from the tune unless they are underrating the kits as it appears the cars are to be stock

Just doesn't make sense that GM won't let me do my own oil changes without voiding my warranty but they'll let me strap on a kit that could potentially tear my engine up

Just doesn't make sense that GM won't let me do my own oil changes without voiding my warranty but they'll let me strap on a kit that could potentially tear my engine up you think GM is in that much financial trouble that they cant waranty a % of a small niche market ... from a simple mod ???
huge risk give me a break ..the number of supercharged cobalts is relativly small, with an even smaller number actually buying the kits ..and even smaller for the people who will have problems out of these kits that they have developed and controled ...

I just called. There is still stock available for stage 1 and the 1 to 2 kit. Stage 2 is out of stock so it seems.
