GM Stage 1 ordered!

I called my buddy at the dealer where I bought my car today and asked him to check with the part dept. as to whether any info has been released about the stage kits. Well he called me back later in the afternoon and said that a part # and pricing exists!!! I was happy as a pig in $hit and he ordered the kit on his employee account. The order was accepted so all seems well so far. If the order comes back then it'll be a little more waiting but if it doesn't The list price in Canadian dollars is $1200 for the stage 1+2 and Stage 1 is $802. I get a MUCH better price than that but I suggest you all call your dealers and ask some questions.

CANADIAN DOLLARS You don't need to think anything, I just said to call your local parts dept. The order was done and put through so if nothing comes back as "part not available" by tomorrow then it's on the way.

Most of Canada's parts come from the U.S. so make a call!

I ordered stage 2 and there is no stock in Canada or the US at this point. But the numbers are right and so are the prices.

HOLY **** $800 ! That is way too expensive. I will call my friend that works at a dealer and see what is up. I would think that there would have been a press release.

Even 800 CND comes out to what 650 AMR ? That is still way to much. Lets see you get fuel injectors, and a reflash ? C'MON NOW THAT IS A SILLY PRICE !!!

Canadian dealers have the info so US dealers should also have it. Perhaps GM parts direct and Crate Engine Depot will be a bit delayed updating their sites.

dude no worries i can't see the US price working like that. Should be lower. Doing the conversion has never been an accurate way of getting a price. Canada usually gets shafted. So the US price should be around 500 im guessing, still expensive but not as high as in CAN. We'll have to wait and see.
