hey guys and gals just wondering if anyone knows if the stage 3 and 2 tunes are the same thats what another member said and he said the idc's and iat 2's are locked and is that true because if so i wish i would of never bought this f**king thing for 400$ f**king dollars

 

They aren't the same. I don't think there is any tuning available for the stage 3 pcm right now.

 

How can someone tell you if the tunes are the same if the stage 3 pcms are locked?

The stage 3 computer is strickly if you want to go with gm's nitrous setup if you want to get a different tune reflash your stock comp. and stage 2 comp and the stage 3 comp are 2 totally different computers just so you know.

 

Yeah, the stage 3 pcm is unsupported by HPT, meaning that you can't see the info it contains. I would think it might have a little more of an adjustment over stage 2, but not much. Most of the "gains" come from an additional octane table for HOM and the nitrous control software. Regular daily tune is going to be very similar, stage 3 pulley is only .08" smaller.
