Get a wideband, or go to the Dyno and watch your o2 that way, the pulley isnt that expensive(dont loose much if you have to take it back off), and this is the only way to know exactly how it will make your motor run.

Hey, I live in San Antonio, Texas and ALL I have is the GM Stage 2 with the Cobalt Addiction 2.79" pulley and I pulled a 13.9 second pass @ 101 with too much spinning in first! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SET UP!!!!! And I still get a little over 30mpg! I have a 3" CAI coming in the mail too!!!! I also have some brand new drag radials and a dampner on their way!!!! My goal for the next few months is to brake into the 12's! can't wait! Totally get the setup though man!

do not run a 2.8 pulley you are overtaxing the injectors

umm...
Oh, and when you say that I am over taxing the injectors, it is universally excepted that the stage 2 tune runs a little richer, so evening it out is just fine. Plus, not everyone floors it everywhere they go, if you don't use all 17.5 -18 psi then the injectors aren't working as hard. Plus, this setup is being used by a good majority of Cobalt owners and has been proven to be the ****, but in the end, it is up to you man....it is your car.

The only real problem with this setup is it does not use all the power the car could have. The stage 2 tune is already dumping fuel, and now the car is trying even harder to flood the car, due to the extra air. I never dynoed with the 2.8, but it feels a bit stronger than the 3". Before I do anything else the car will be getting a wideband and a tune, then most likely larger injectors and a 2.6, but only time will tell...

Cliff notes= If your going below a 2.9 w/ stage 2 you better get a good tune or just move up the the 60's w/ a tune.

I dyno'd last week at sea level on a nice cold day and put down 257whp and 232 tq, my buddy with stage 2, GMPP Touring exhaust, Injen Intake and a 2.9" put down 245whp with his 16" winters and then switched to the 18's and got 231whp. The a/f ratio isnt the problem with your injectors its the injector duty cycle, they are running well over 100% at redline which could cause issues down the road. I have been running my setup now for like 7 months and have had NOT ONE PROBLEM!
