gm stage 2 cel

hello all im kinda new to the forum. Had my 2006 ss/sc for about a month and considering going to stage 2 . Iwas wonderin does anyone know if this will take care of my p0171 code i keep getting. Has this upgrade helped anyone else thanks for any info.

im guessing u have an intake
i have stage 2 and an intake and dont have any codes but i dont think stage 2 would erase it but im not sure

what are your mods by the way and where u at in texas ?

yes i do have an intake and i know thats why i have the codes i was just wondering since im going stage 2 anyway if the retune would eliminate that . sorry need to update my profile im in louisiana now.and the only mods is the intake for now

Nah i dont think stage 2 will remove the code you will most likely need HP Tuners of a program that tricks the ECU

I had the same code , after the stage flash (about 1.5 years ago) It hasn't come back.

It depends on what your code is for.. I don't have any codes and I've got a I/H/D with my GMS2.
If it's an out of band code then you might get lucky. Stage 2 tune has a little more freedom for the amount of air brought in to the engine.

well i think it is outof band because ive had the car for about a month and i didnt throw it for like two weeks and now it goes off and on every couple days

make sure everything is tight. i kept getting a code and retightened everything and havent had one since.

i checked everything its tight i also cleaned the maf but still goes on and off
