They definately made a difference for me, not at first because I gapped them the same as the stock plugs (0.035). After regapping them at 0.040, it's running much better. Last Friday around midday, it was about 93 degrees out and my car was sputtering pretty bad, hesitating and almost stalling at lights. With the new plugs (at 0.040) it's been running smooth since.

I re-gapped the stock plugs at .037 just to see if there is a difference and it seems to run a bit better. They were at .040 when they were pulled. Although here it hasn't hit 90 degrees yet.

Now I have stage2 that should be here any day, and I have a set of NGK BKR7E's sitting here for the big day. I think I am going to keep the .037 gap and see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, the .040 gap was my next move.

I had the dealership put the NGK's in as they were installing stage II. I told them to gap the plugs at .38 You can go as close as .35 I can't tell if there is any difference due to the plugs but the stage kit is of the hook. I went one step colder with the NGK BKR7E Copper Plugs. The guy who installed the stage kit new all about these plugs and was going to recomend them to me untill he saw me walk in with them.

From the package they are gapped @ .30 which was what was called for my car so i just threw em' in. But for u SS S/C guys, you'll have to re-gap em to proper specs.

HondaXR200cc there is no point in getting the NGK 6 spark plugs if you have a smaller pulley than stock. You want the 7's. Return the 6's for the 7's and gap them at .38 for the most performance and reliability.

So after all is said and done, now that a couple months has passed , Are there any new, or improved plugs out there ? Like any of the Split-Fire/Bosch/Multi-Electrode(or whatever they are called), Maybe somewhere there is simply a list of what has worked for stock, stage 1 , stage 2 and such. This would help , as I have searched "spark plugs and most info is older. Thanks for any help/insight. This forum is just great for us "do it yourselfers" on a budget.
