GM stage 2 hub bolts

I know you need the MT-2 tool to remove the bolts, but I was wondering if anybody has ever just drilled them out and replaced them with some Allen headed type bolts, and if so what size.

I am just trying to figure out what the most economical route is for doing this. It would cost around 15 bucks to get the tool, where as new bolts would only cost a couple of bucks. If anybody has gone this route, what size do I need?
