Gm Stage 2 Installation
Does anyone on here know where I can find on GM's site that it says exactly how long it takes to do the install on the stage 2 kit? So i can go and show my dealer what GM themseleves say the installation should take so i dont get ripped off on labor charges.

The dealer looked in their computer, and the labor was 1.5-2hr install from readings dealers have been taking longer, if you are doing the install yourself it would be wise to either buy or rent a pulley puller, it makes things alot easier, after your install dont drive the car really until you get a reflash, and stay out of boost .

I think 2-3 hours is a good ball park, but expect a little longer, i have seen a lot of people say the dealership had a hard time getting the pulley off, but the dealership shouldn't charge any extra hours cuz they are too dumb to get it off in a few minutes like they should be able to do it in.

Stage II Install Time
Carfagno sold me the kit for $570 but wants 5-8 hours to install it. They broke the time down into individual labor times: Flash ECU 1 hour, Install pulley 1 hour, and so on. I went to a Saturn dealer and the mechanic looked at it and within 20 seconds said no more than 2 hours. "Simple Job."
If I install it myself and have the dealer flash the ECU the dealer said they would warranty the parts but not the labor. Understandable.

my local dealership said that if i installed it as long as it was don correctly the warranty would still be intact, but if i was done incorrectly they wouldn't warranty it.

2 hours - Stage 2
1 hour - Touring exhaust
1 hour - header manifold
was quoted $298 for 4 hours
Dropped car off at 8am
Got car back at 4:30pm
charged $298 for 4 hours, because "it was their first time with Stage 2"
yes - they can look it up on their computers
