Hey, I need a quick answer for this so...

Okay, my cars stage 2 was installed by a dealer in the USA, and flashed in the USA. Note: THE TUNE HAS NEVER BEEN ALTERD IN ANYWAY.

Im getting warranty work done in Canada (the work has been done pretty much and was told everything would be under warranty) but the Canadian dealership is saying my CAL does not match what techline has and is trying to get me to pay for this.

Now my quesion to you guys, are the Canadian and US CAL's diffrenet? say if a canadian tech 2 was checking a US CAL it would come up mismatched no?

I need to find out asap because im more then likly going to have to take legal action to get my car back.

DO you have the service reciept from the dealer that did the install. If not try to call them and get the info through your vin number they should have a record of it. CALs? do you me calibrations?
Ask that to the dealer that did the install too.

 

If you cant get a reciept, call the bank and get a printout of your bank statement showing the transaction from the dealership.

 

The problem is the stage 2 was installed before i bought the car, and looking through gm vis doesn't give me any info on who installed it. i called all the dealershipes that touched my car in gm vis but none of them installed stage 2

But heres the thing, the work has already been performed, i just took my car in for the timing chain tensioner to be replaced, but the dealership didn't do it right and destoryed the cyl head (bent intake valves and a rocker) so they sent it out for repair and now have it back, but they havnt put the head back on the car yet. but they said it will all under warranty which it is. only now did they scan it.

I just dont understand why mine is diffrenent, its never been tuned.

If they continue to push me around like this, I will take legal action to get my car back, I dont see any other way

 

all dealerships are like that or most of them. They never wanna pay yea they offer the stage2 kit but anythin ovef i think 5k is abruse. How much is the bill they are tryna stick you wit?
