GM Stage 3
I know that this has been talks about it and I tried to do a search but nothing showed up. I did check at Crate engine Depot on the new intercooler bypass plate .The instructions state to use this to create better flow for GMstage2 and 3 . When they go through the tear down of the super charger they say to remove the stage 2 pulleys and install the stage 3 pulley. I thought the Stage 3 was going to be a the nitrous hook up and the ability to mess wit eh settings for the fuel air ratio off road use only .No one said anything about the different pulley. I was also investigating the pulley they used was a 72mm pulley which converts over to a 2.85. Anyone one else see this. When is this kit coming out??????

I was just on crateenginedepot also. Im pretty sure stage 3 isnt out yet, I work at a chevy dealer and Im always bugging the parts guy about it. I think the site just got ahold of the endplates and the instructions that come with it. Stage 3 is comming out really soon so they use the same literature with the endplates that comes with the stage 3 kits??

From what I gather the stage 3 PCM is what voids the warrenty. The dual pass endplate and 2.85 pulley is just a stage 2 with a little more boost and actually runs cooler. But with the stage 3 PCM the tune is more aggressive, the AC is disabled, there's the high octane race modes and the N20 tuning. From what I hear you can just switch the stage 2 and 3 PCMs. I wont be driving to work with the stage 3 in (no AC). So just buy stage 3. and install everything yourself. And if your car breaks down, just make sure you have the stage 2 PCM installed. The tech wont notice the endplate or pulley...This is my plan at least. I just hope GM didnt do something to try and stop people like me from doing this

yea stage 3 looks nice for the reflash if its a reflash or if its a bolt up pcm
and of course the dual pass intercooler plate
the pulley isnt anything major those are already out in any size, and tuning for n20 is suicide on this motor unless you have better pistons

I called, it does void the warranty because its considered off road use only. So its "technically" for the race track only. Thats how they can get away with selling it w/out warranting it. Stop the whinning, it seems like an awesome product, just voids your warranty like all the oth er kits would!!
