My GM Stage 3 pulley should be here on Monday or Tuesday. I ordered it about a week ago. After I install a full exhaust system in about 2 weeks, I will then install that and let you know how it works out. I currently have on 06 ss/sc stage II, and an AEM CAI

The clutch is great. I have actually found out our stock clutches are capable of holding 300whp.

There actualy is a fix to the stock clutch problem. Here is what was found in a nut shell.

These stock clutches are capable of 300whp. The problem is people aren't shifting at high enough RPMs. You should be shifting around 3,000rpm for normal daily driving. That's what these clutches like. Most people shift around 2,000 or 2,500 rpms all the time and believe it or not that actualy causes the clutch to slip and create a varnish on the disc which creates slipage. We think we are being nice to the car but it hurts the clutch. If you start shifting around 3,000 or even 3,5000 rpm all the time the varnish goes away and the clutch grips like crazy. Here is the write up.

I have been doing this lately and I have to say it works wonders.

yeah my shifts points are all on or around that level usually less as speed increases and shift requirements get lower per gear

just ordered the 2.9 pulley from ZZP fo rth e interchangable . Starting to gather up parts for spring to put on.

What you guys are saying is that the 3.0 pulley from ZZP is actually a 2.9999 and the 2.9ZZP is actually 2.89999 size So would that mean that I would be unsafe runningthe 2.9ZZP when GM Stage 3 pulley is actually 2.9999 which =3.0ZZP. Just curious

whats happened is people are coming forward with data showing that the injectors from stage 2 can't manage the 2.8" because at about 6500rpm the injectors go static which means they cannot be controlled and are only spewing out gas at an uncontrolled rate. The IDC's are over 100% with a 2.8 and closer to ideal at 2.85 but a 2.9 is the ticket.
