since its gm and gm installed i wouldent think so, all there is nitrous so anything could go wrong. Stage 2 doesnt if its bought through and installed by gm. it would void my warrenty through cause id shoot a piston through my hood the first day.

Ya, from the first mention of S3 the word is yes it voids ur warrenty. They probly could have made work it but as soon as Nos was introduced that got thrown out the window.

it should be your option to put nos on there if you want it. like if you dont it doesnt void your warrenty and if you do it does. but remember just because the dealership tells you youve shot your warrenty doesnt mean your down and out, they still have to prove that which ever part it was that went bad, went bad because of the preformance part

for your supercharger there is a heat exchanger, AKA a water to air intercooler. It's used to cool the air that comes into your engine block so it doesn't cause ping or predetonation.

Stock the SS/SC comes with a single pass unit, the dual pass unit is probably thicker, heavier, and more expensive. Though it obviously will help keep the intake charge cooler and will overall outperform the stock unit handily. For those who live in a hot areas it'll be a godsend for longterm relibility on even the stock boost level.

True but that comes down to the dealer, my last dealer was awesome, my new dealer are the biggest bunch of ******** ever. As for the nos I agree with you but I dont think it comes with nos it just comes with the pcm tuning to be able to run the 55 shot.

I don't want any of that I just want the part # for the dual pass

LFP is coming out with one with specific mounts for the cobalt, as well as a larger resevoir. Supposed to be under 300 for the HE and around 150 for the resevoir...

I honestly dont know you'd have to ask some of the guys that have them. But i dont think the CA HE is dual pass but the LFP one is. I would wait to see what GM comes out with and than im positive there will be many threads on which one is better and so forth.

So what kind of #'s are we looking at? Is it just the dual pass intercooler w/ a pcm calibration that will run a 55 shot? I think I read 8k redline but am not sure of what other things come with this kit...

76mm isn't much of an improvement... the dual pass intercooler is definately WAY cool. I definately would like to see some part numbers so I can order the pulley and dual pass intercooler seperate.

The valve springs are supposed to be good to 7500 before they float, so 8000 is just way crazy... definately going to need to replace those springs if going with that PCM tune.

I was there at the beginning of Jbody.Org and thats Bob Mull and if you dont know who he is he pretty much never lost a car show to anyone. GM gave him the cobalt to fix up so why wouldnt they give him the stage 3 kit. He will get everything GM comes out with for the cobalt.
