GM Stage belt

I just wanted to see if anyone knew if we could purchase the belt from the stage kit and if so for how much and from where. Just curious. Thanks.

Yes you can purchase it seperately. I don't know the part number but you can get it from crate engine depot. Here is the link.

couldn't find the belt seperately. only the two stage kits and the 1 to 2 stage kit.

They don't list the belt seperately. You have to call and talk to parts so they can look it up in the main computer and order it for you. I had to do that when I ordered touch up paint.

INDEFINATE BACKORDER... spoke with them... gm is so far behind on the stage kits that all belt go to those.

spectacular. so then what are you guys using? the bigger idler pulley from intense or the adjustable from zzp?

I spoke to them on the phone and told them my stage 2 belt broke... he's gonna try and get me one asap.... put the order through... lets see what happens

did you happen to give them your VIN?
They can make a SPAC case for the belt

I can't belive it is such a pain to get this belt. I'd like to get one eventually but in the mean time I am running the Stage 2 pulley with my stock belt and not having any slipping issues.

I"m goin just a bit smaller that that... ; ) but I have a XXX inch with no problems on a stock belt.

they made a spac case for me , that doesnt really matter when their is none in the US available ANYWHERE, my dealer is a great help and they have been seraching for the dam thing for a few months now...

so i would think it's safe to assume that getting a stage 2 belt is simply not a possibility...at least anytime soon. i guess i'll be going with a bigger tensioner pulley

yep anytime soon is what it is, It will only be a matter of time before gatorback's are available, along with the STG2 belt....until then....i guess Idler pulley
