Instead of waiting for GM we should make our own official stage 3. What do you think?

The Unofficial Stage 3!

1. 2.8" pulley
2. GM extruded honed manifold
3. GM Sport exhaust

This was already discussed a bit more in depth here:

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/gm-stage-3-a-19276/

Just awaiting word hopefully by the end of this month or the beginning of next.

I REALLY want the rumors about a Stage 3 kit to be true, and if they are, I REALLY hope that nitrous isnt involved. I prefer solid "always on" power. Ah well, only time will tell.

It's actually a submarine powered by new hybrid technology, and will get 1000 leagues to the gallon.

Gm Stage 5 Announced!!!!

It's developed for GM by a small company called "Intense" and voids your warranty.

But seriously, the "REAL" GM Stage 5 throws an LS2 in your trunk and drives your rear wheels for you. And here's the kicker....it somehow INCREASES your gas mileage.

Kudos to "Car and Driver" for choosing the base Vette over the Shelby GT500. I hate Ford so much. (sorry, I just read this article on the sh*tter)

Peace,,,

The fact they compared a pony car to a vette shows just how dumb C&D is. GM had the camaro that competes with mustang, not the vette. Thats like doing a showdown between a Yaris and a Mazda 6, its just retarded.

Not C&D's fault, it's the only new high performance GM vehicle they can compare it to. But they really are 2 totally different animals.

STAGE 6!!! It removes the LS2 in the trunk and drops in a blown 572 big block chevy with 1000 hp, it also has a 500 shot of nitrous hooked up, and everything is covered by warrenty except the motor, tranny, and rear end, and various other suspention parts. The price is the thing that really sold me! Only one magic golden goose egg, and 2 toes of a hobbit from the shire!

But seriosly I was talking to a guy who works at the parts department at a saturn dealer and he said he has a Stage 3 in his computer catalog but it only shows limited info.

haha, bumping up from the dead again. I wish they'd freakin release something soon. The manufacturing of the parts should be done right about now. I want to see new aftercoolers!

(ps- They moved the prototype to area 52 this time. I snuck a peek at the transport and i swear i saw liquid fuel rockets powered by E-85. Also, S3 comes with 28" slicks that can never be removed once installed. They're tired of people complaining about traction.)

This is all true i actually talked to a GM Rep and he stated that the 28" slicks would miraculously enough fit on the stock 7 inch rim, also the only drawbacks to the slicks is that they're made by pirelli and they'll wear out after to trips to the track.
