A 100 shot is a big shot for a 4cyl already running 15 PSI of boost.

Now a new after cooler makes sense and a smaller pully and maybe exhaust can see much more than that.

They will probably re-tune the PCM, add a DP and header package, add strut tower braces and motor mounts. Maybe port and polish the SC or a bigger TB?

We already know whats coming in the package, now we're just waiting for word. It will NOT come with nitrous. The offroad 'box' has programming to understand nitrous if you added it. GM recommends no more than a 50 shot on stock internals.

The S3 test car i drove had a 50 shot installed on it. The computer would only let the nitrous flow when the car was above 3500 RPMs.

Bigger injectors, smaller pulley, offroad-only ecu that disables A/C and can handle nitrous if need be, and a better heat exchanger. I think that's about it.

The pulley is said to be 76mm, the injectors are bigger than 42.5

Also GM could never offer a nitrous kit for the SS/SC that would offer any more value that zex or NX or NOS or the umteen other nitrous vendors out there.

The only factual information in this thread has been indicated by Zenkat... Albeit, a few facts are missing:

- Stage 3 will also include a sophisticated, yet simple user interface for driver RPM adjustment in 250rpm increments via the accelerater pedal and tachometer, for a max RPM adjustment of nearly 9000RPM.
- Stage 3 will include a 110 octane mode, controlled through the inactive shiftlight and cruise control... If sevre KR is detected, the system will disable high octane mode.
- Stage 3 will force an off-road AC bypass, where the AC is deleted and the compressor is in use as just an idler
- Stage 3 will include a nitrous trigger, which will only activate when the condition of both WOT, full engine load and a min. of 3500RPM is satisfied.
- Stage 3 is GMPD administered for OFF-ROAD use only.

No, but Ford did with the Saleen Focus n2o. Still not entirely sure what to think though. You make a good point.
