That's GM for ya....If my kit doesn't come by June 5, I might cancel it and take a drive to Intense (like a 4 hour drive for me lol) and get a custom tune specifically for my mods.

Every time I call GM I get a different story (kind of like we did before they were released).
Thank you to all of you that have placed orders with CED, we have not forgotten you and we will be shipping them as fast (slow) as they come in.
We know CED is doing everything they can...i wasnt knocking CED...Tom has been great to deal with. I keep annoying him with emails and he still responds to them right way.
I was just curious why some people have ordered theirs in May and have gotten them already, while others have been waiting since the start of April.

You guys have been very patient, and I appreciate that... We all keep hearing about owners ordering them in May and getting them right away.
Here is what I am thinking: These dealers probably had an order on them from way back when they were first released and just filled your order with incoming stock. But just to make sure I will be calling someone higher up within GM Performance Parts today and get to the bottom of it. I will post my findings later today.

Believe me there is nothing more frustrating to me that to be a supplier and not be able to fill orders. Just imagine going to McDonalds and finding "Big Mac's" are on back order...

For what it’s worth, I have been checking my current orders and my orders moved up 40 places in line from when I checked last. (That’s supposed to be a good thing). I am waiting for a call back from the upper GM mgt and will continue to post as updates come in.

Ok so this finally makes a bit more sense. All of us are wondering what the big problem is putting to together 4 injectors, a pulley, belt, blah blah, blah...
The injectors are imported and because GM underestimated the original demand the whole world is waiting for the ship to come in that these injectors are on.
(That’s my story and I'm sticking to it.)

So Astro, they still didn't give you a date? This blows. GM is slacking off on their performance parts. I do realize that they have other major issues to work out such as avoiding bankruptcy but there should be plenty of people working for GM to figure out that they need to produce more kits. Oh well...good things come to those who wait.

A moderator on silveradoss.com works for a Chevy dealer and advises me that they have one stage 2 kit in stock for sale. Contact Zippy at http://home.comcast.net/~dubldigits/Zippy.html
