the newest newbee!

Hi, i just traded my 2004 cavalier for a an 05 cobalt SS/SC. Just had a few questions. The car was used (9k mi) and with all the performance stuff gm has done to this car, im not sure what is stock or not. It has a silver K&N intake on it that i assume is aftermarket, as well as red tubing around all the hoses/wires under the hood. Is this stock for an ss/sc or aftermarket stuff? also has "SS SUPERCHARGED" over the 3rd brake light (hate it, and if it is NOT stock, would like to know how to remove it safley without scratching anything) With all that, any suggestions for some real basic mods? The exhaust sounds ok, but i would like something a little meaner sounding

The best way to get rid of the badge is to use some fishing line or dental floss to get in behind the label, and cut the dual sided tape. Then expect to spend a good amout of time with some goo gone, and your finger nails to get all of the glue off. You can then leave it off, or get double sided tape to move the badges wherever you want.

cool, thanks for the advice, what about exhaust? I know it has 2.5-2.25 pipe, would just a muffler be a good mod, or should i plan on replaceing the entire cat back?
