Question GM stage2 with 2.8

I am looking for some information. You see I have had the 2.8 on for a while and am getting vary tiered of throwing the p0103 code when I rev too high. Know that it is colder I really through it a lot. I am thinking of going with HP tuners and 60lb injectors. I will also get the car tuned professionally on a dyno. I might put on the upgraded intercooler pass system for the heat exchanger.

My questions are where is the best place to get the 60lb injectors?
Also with regards to the Hp tuners how easy is it to tune yourself. I have read that baby steps are the best but I feel that it would be best to have a professional do it I am just not looking forward to the 150 an hour charge for the tuning. I was also wondering if anyone knows what are the best settings for the LSJ running GM stage 2 with 2.8.

Thanks

Would the intense 42.5 injectors be good enough for the 2.8.

If you have the Stage II, you already have 42.5 injectors. You may need to go 50+ injectors. Other wise you need a good tune. I would get it tuned either way.

Here's the HPT requirements:

Air Fuel Gauge
Good knowledge of how the engine works
A lot of free time to learn, test, learn, test.............

as for your injectors you are maxing them out everytime you hit 6000rpm, so smarten up and get some 60lb's but you will need a tune for them

P0103 MAF Sensor Circuit Low Frequency will not happen if you get the updated GM Stage reflash. One of the things the new flash dose is raise the MAF fail safe to 11,000htz.

I checked and it seems that I do have the latest flash. So with the 2.8 on a GM stage 2 I think that I will have to go with the 60lbs and get the car tuned. I would like to get HP tuners myself so I can learn the in and out of tuning my own car but I think that I will also have a profesional tun it first.

The 42# injectors will safely support up to 300 BHP.

With all of you guys chiming with the 2.8 and running fine????? I do not know I think that I should get my car to a shop and see if the injectors are good enough. I think for safty I should go with 60ies but I think that I have also hear that ther are hard to tune for the lower rpm range.

GM released an updated flash a few months back that will fix your code problem. Next time you get the code take it to the dealership and they should get you the latest update.

I tried this a wile ago and I am over the wrrent period. Mileage is at 46000 right know so It will caust 80ish for them to check to see if i have the latest reflash. In any case i am also wondering if the injectors are maxing out or not. I juess I should just bite the bullit and get see if I do have the latest flash or not and then go with a dyno test to see if the injectors are running to high of a duty cycle.

I just looked at my injector duty cycle and I ran my car to 6900 Rpms and they were well below 100%. I think it depends on your area nad your climate.
