It is definately worth it. It makes it a completely different car. As far as price, I might be a little inaccurate because I manage a collision center and got the kit at my cost from the dealer (about $510 with tax) and got it installed for free because I buy all my GM parts from them and bought the ccar from them.

Anyway, the kit plus install will probably run you about $1000. To save a few bucks, you might want to purchase the kit from www.crateenginedepot.com They sell nothing but GM factory parts and kits for our vehicles and many others. Hope this helps.

yes it does, i just bought the car the other day. maybe i can get a deal on the instalation of the kit

but i will definately get it even if i have to pay 900-1000 for the install, extra 40 hp is worth it, plus im ordering a catback system, and a intake.

do you think getting headers is worth it if i get new intake and stage 2?

Get the stuff installed by the dealer if you want a warranty, and even that is kinda shady. Intake sounds awesome on stock or Stage 2. If you get the GM catback I would go with the GMPP Extrude Honed Manifold. It is suposedly a 30cfm increase in flow and is still a 4-2-1 which promotes midrange power. Might want to look at a down pipe and high flow cat if you go with a 2.5"+ catback.
