GM stage2 and sport catback

I just bought my 06 ss/sc and it still has 13k miles left on the warranty, does anyone know what kind of ACTUAL (dyno sheets would be helpful) hp gains i would be looking at with these upgrades on a previously stock setup?

If you search around you can find people with a similar setup, but dyno's depend on so many different things you might get 230 you might hit 260. I have CAI, Stage 2, and GMPP sport exhaust and I too wonder what kind of power I should be putting down. My guess is 240-250... Any takers?

You will probably see less than what GM states (245). On a dynojet you'll prob see around 220 whp +/- a few but like most people will tell you it all depends on your car, the weather conditions, the dyno itself, and many other variables....

If you Dyno less than what they say, isn't that false advertising or something? Isn't there some kinds of guarantee. I mean 220 on stage 2 would be a rip since I'v seen people put down close to that stock.

I made 217 stock, 221 with GMPP exhaust, 235 with Stage 2 + K&N CAI + GMPP exhaust.

You only had a 14 hp gain with Stage 2 and a Cold Air intake? That just doesn't seem fair. Im afraid to get mine dynod

I remember seeing a 249whp dyno of JUST stage 2, maybe it had a CAI as well. What's with the massive differences? 249 a factory freak?

South FL, 90 degree weather, 100% humidity, accurate dyno, no bullshit numbers. Thats what it is.

Gotta compare the same car stock on the same dyno, I could play with the settings and make mine read over 230 stock, but thats not accurate. What I used was SAE corrected, by RPMs, in 4th gear, a legit pull. Then keep those settings and run with whatever mods, it will give you an accurate picture of what the gain was.

Also, the 14hp comes with a decent TQ gain, and its across the board. These cars when close to stock don't have a great peak power number, needs downpipe, better flow in the header, and other help to start getting decent numbers up top.

what if i got the stage2 gm sport exhaust and the gm headers. still keep my warranty and get a little kick in the pants. then just sell them in 13k miles and get some real stuff. think it would be worth it?

I have a stock exhaust manifold that I can port for you, save you some money over the GMPP piece and actually more opened up inside. I did mine and I've done a couple for other people. Let me know.
