gm tune question
No the car will barely run with 60's lol. You can't just swap them. I bet the car would go into limp mode. It just won't work. Their is no highly suggesting it, if you run 60's you need a tune.
No buddy really uses a maf-t since hp tuners became mainstream.

You seriously need a tune to run 60's.
My best suggestion is run a 2.8" or larger pulley with the gm injectors and STILL get a custom tune. I saw a GM stage II with nate's 2.8" pulley running 13.5 AFR at WOT. That's killer right there.
You put 60# on a 42# tune and you're shooting 50% more fuel in there than normal. Your car CAN learn to readjust for your stupid ass at IDLE, but not under WOT. The reason is that the car learns LONG TERM fuel trims and is able to compensate for incorrect fueling while under a constant condition, but under WOT you car actually stops learning LTFT and will just pulse the programmed amount. You cannot hold the car under WOT and teach it to learn, because that feature is disabled for good reason. Afterall you don't want you car leaning itself out to 14.7 AFR under WOT either.
And to those who think I just said that your car will learn and tune itself......you're idiots. Some dude on the redlineforums tried telling everyone there that we don't need custom tuning and tried to prove it by using different injectors and a wideband. Even if your car learns to adjust for itself, it takes the computer a long time to reference those changes and calculate the proper amount. That's why better tuned cars run better, the computer is not having to compensate and delaying the actual results. Plus, under WOT there are no computer compensated changes so you're SOL. You could have a car that drives fine around town, then you don't know how bad it runs under WOT.
Word to the wise: If you don't understand how a part works.......don't put the F-ing thing on your car.
To the OP> If you are running a 2.7" on a stock GM tune, I would go to a engine shop and have a LEAK DOWN test performed to make sure you haven't already cracked the sides of your pistons. It may feel fine to you, but your pistons could already be near toast.
I heard that the local tuners in Miami beat you up and hold you ransom and threaten to kill your family if you don't pay up.
