Gm Warrany

im planning on calling gm today. and seeing if i can get a new clutch . . its basically gonna go anyday noww.. i bought the car used with 14,000 miles now it has 36,000 im not sure of the warranty i got with it at all.. what do u think they wil do

if yor car ha the 5yr 100,000mi warrenty they should replace it

i got a 07 with extended warranty so does that mean my clutch is under warranty till 160000 km

Most likely they wont replace it. A clutch is a Wear item. Take it to the dealer and see though.

Wear items are not covered. You can try but if they say no don't waste your time fighting them.

Clutch's are wearable item's and are NOT covered under warranty

unless it wore down because of some type of hydraulic problems then they wont replace it. i have 12000 miles on my car and my clutch is gone, if im in gear and hit the gas a little it just revs up. its my fault, i had way to much fun with it.

Yeah, they're going to tell you to go pound salt. Clutch would only be covered within the first 7,500 - 10k miles IF there was a manufacturer's defect. What's covered under your extended warranty depends, but a lot of times it's limited to drivetrain. Basically engine/transmission minus the clutch.

if you have only the 36000 you're screwed...

i had the facotry 36000 but with the 60000 extended warranty. my clutch went out at around 37000miles and they replaced the entire clutch system except for the pressure plate which i had to pay out of pocket about $120. they said it was defective...
