Gm Warrany
im planning on calling gm today. and seeing if i can get a new clutch . . its basically gonna go anyday noww.. i bought the car used with 14,000 miles now it has 36,000 im not sure of the warranty i got with it at all.. what do u think they wil do
unless it wore down because of some type of hydraulic problems then they wont replace it. i have 12000 miles on my car and my clutch is gone, if im in gear and hit the gas a little it just revs up. its my fault, i had way to much fun with it.
Yeah, they're going to tell you to go pound salt. Clutch would only be covered within the first 7,500 - 10k miles IF there was a manufacturer's defect. What's covered under your extended warranty depends, but a lot of times it's limited to drivetrain. Basically engine/transmission minus the clutch.
i had the facotry 36000 but with the 60000 extended warranty. my clutch went out at around 37000miles and they replaced the entire clutch system except for the pressure plate which i had to pay out of pocket about $120. they said it was defective...
