GMPP Catback or Aftermarket

I have a 2.0 S/C and I am debating between the GMPP exhaust and a DC Sports 3" Exhaust. Can anybody offer opinions to which one i should get?

i ve the 2.2 with the gmpp cat back and love it. also there's plenty of SS s/c with the gmpp exhaust you love theirs too. really havent heard to much about the Dc sports. jonyyb got 12 extra hp out of his gmpp exhaust. if that helps

My Plans are AEM CAI, Eibach Sportlines,O.Z Superleggera 18" wheels and Yokohama Parada 2 Tires, Looking to get Intense Stage 3 with the possiblilty of going to stage 5 in the future. Thanks for the input on GM exhaust might go with it. What about Magnaflow? Any comments on that?

gmpp is rather small and the 3" is a bit big unless you are pushing serious numbers.

have you looked at corsa?

I just got the GMPP performance exhaust put on.... I love the sound. Loud... not too raspy.

If you're planning on a big horsepower build... go with a 2.5 or larger exhaust... as the GMPP one is only 2.25"

The most I'm ever gonna do is Stage 2 + 2.8... so I'm not worried about size restricting me too much.

Inserestingly enough though... the GMPP exhaust outflows the stock 2.5" exhaust.

I was looking into the Magnaflow cat-back system as well but I looked away once I found out that it is made out of T-409 stainless steel instead of T-304. T-409 is not as durable as the other stuff and will rust/corrode before T-304 ever will.

Other people on this board have already had issues with the Magnaflow cat-back producing exhaust leaks.

GMPP is nice, i love it. If your planning on going stage five i would consider a larger one like the Dezod. I doupt the GMPP would restrict you unless your pushing about 275.

Ok I think i'm going to go with the GMPP exhaust. Anyone near me have it so i can hear it in person? Ok new question. I have heard that the AEM CAI in just like doing an airbox mod. Is this true? Regardless though i'm still prolly gonna go with it cuz you just can't get a whine from an airbox.
