I have heard many others talking about who makes the GMPP exhaust. Can anyone confirm who makes this. I heard borla makes it but was not sure. Thanks for your time.


If I order the Stage II kit from Parts Dept. on the christmas discount will I also get the reflash? Will I get a cd to take to the dealer or how will this work?

 

ur dealer has the program in the computer i believe and i heard corsa made the gmpp exhasut correct me if im wrong anyone but idk i heard many differnt stories with the exhasut

 

Yea, I think its Corsa as well.

 

i always thought it was borla, i remember lookin at some website and it said how it was backed by GM with Borla quality

 

I have GMPP exhaust and I don't even know.

 

Preatty sure its Borla boys. Ive been looking at this for a month now at least and to be honest its the first time i heard corsa. Corsa makes a 3inch only for the cobalt... and they are developing a 2.5 now cuz they where loosing to much torque with the 3inch. Factory Cobalts SS race cars used to have corsa 3", but they are going back to 2.5. Now Borla are known to make catbacks for Mopar like the Viper GTS car. Borla also offers a 2.25 catback for the cobalt. Coincidence? maybe. But thats waht the majority of the forums say.

 

I have the Corsa and im pretty sure its a 2.5" not a 3" exhaust, but i noticed the clamps from the Corsa and Gmpp are the same and i forgot what somone else noticed that it may be Corsa

 

I am certain that the exhaust is made by....either Borla or Corsa . I have also heard many different stories about who makes it and it seems like no one could ever come to a conclusion on which one makes it.

 

Just call GMPP up and ask the, someone over there has to know. Anybody got their number?

 

I actually just asked Tom from CrateEngineDepot in his other post about it. I'm going to get this question solved once and for all . Waiting for the response...

Well...unfortunatly Tom signed off the site before answering the question . The anticipation builds now until tomorrow I guess . However, I did go on to the Crate Engine Depot site and under their "Manufactureer's (sp?) List", they have Corsa Automotive Exhaust being the only manufacturer of exhaust systems on their. I've got the answer to one of the most debated questions , according to Tom and Crate Engine Depot, the GMPP exhausts are made by...BORLA.

 

borla is printed on the instruction manuals, so i would probably lean towards borla unless corsa is just trying to help get borla some free advertising

Hi everyone, Yes the GMPP system is made by Borla, we also do sell the Corsa system but it has nothing to do with GMPP at all, we still sell it because some people request it.
