I am tired of chasing you around these threads and posting up my dyno sheet.

You get a gain.

You get a nice sound.

So where the **** is your problem with the GMPP exhausts?

And if you mention size I am going to **** smack you...not every t00ner is trying to make infinity HP...

a mild relative gain

the gm exhaust is LIMITING... gm stage 2 + 2.9 + intake and a dp with header will perform BETTER on a 3 inch, not the shitty 2.25 crap gm puts out.

even the magnaflow flows better.

you can hold onto the "i have gmpp im so leet" theory all you want, but the product was flawed at production, and is flawed onyour vehicle.

maybe hes not trying to make the HIGHEST whp he can possibly get. maybe he just wants a nice sound n a relative gain in whp, if so the gmpp is perfect and not crazy expensive. also, if your like me and dont want a super loud exhaust thats like a honda, the 2.25 inch is plenty big, a nice sound that isnt too loud

Then WHY buy an exhaust in the first place? Don't even say the tone either. It's not a V8.. It's a 4cyl

yes because the first rule in the tuner book is get a SMALLERRRRRRRRR aftermarket exhaust, your right, youll OBVIOUSLY gain from that... LEWLIES.

and the kid with his dyno sheet, congrats, the 2.25 doesnt gain u 10whp, and if it did, then a 2.5 would gain more.

but hey, handicap your car, its all good.

p.s. there are some nice sounding exhausts out there....its all about how the muffler is tuned.

ur right, bigger is better, except when its too big. then it actually hurts the car more than helps it. and as u get bigger, the sound also becomes more n more like a honda unless u have mods to deepen the tone

ITS A 4 CYL. How do you plan on making the tone not sound like ass?

I suppose only a V8 has this thing you refer to as tone? Is it possible that maybe a car with 4 cylinders has a DIFFERENT tone? "OH ****, THE TONE IS NOT THE SAME AS A V8," you might say with a horrified expression on your face, but the fact is that a 4 cylinder does have unique sound. That unique sound has qualities that can be magnified with a good exhaust. The GMPP exhaust is awesome.

Enjoy the new exhaust. I have the same cat-back along with ZZP's midlength header/3" catless DP. Its loud but oh well.

Once I see a dyno sheet of someone going from a GMPP catback to a different cat-back while seeing a whp gain of more than 7 I will think about getting a 2.5" or 3" catback. Untill then I will keep my GMPP.

fair warning, unless you have well above stg2 hp numbers, it is too big. youll have rasp in the rpm band. and only someone who knows nothing about cars would put a 3" on, thats just dumb. 500hp cars have 3", not 250hp cars.

oh, and as for corsa and borla, i wasnt looking to spend ~700 bucks. plus they were a little too loud.
