Well I was at the Autorama yesterday and visited the GMPP booth and asked for a guy that knew about our motors . Of couse he had left for the day but I was talking to another guy and I asked is there going to be any more bolt on performance parts to make it faster . With reply was the GM Stage 3, I said yea I know but will there be Stage 4 or Higher and he said . No they are pretty much done with making performance parts for the LSJ motor. I was sad but then asked why they did not make a high flow down pipe for the car and the guy went over to another guy and asked and came back to me and said well their in the process of making a long tube header for the car but doesn't know if it will ever see production. I said that would be cool but the guy was doubtful.

The display that they had was only for LS6 and7 motor . They did have an LS6 with a super charger on it and it was in a Solitice . It said 1000hp . it was pretty sweet.

 

Yea a longtube header would be sweet, but there would be alot of pissed off GM honed manifold guys, including myself!

Thats sad news about no stage 4 though, but i wouldn't take there opinions as the gospel. Few people, especially floor guys managing booths, know exactly whats going on in GM's R&D department.
