gmpp muffler on stock 2.0 exhaust
gmpp muffler on stock 2.0 exhaust
hey guys, just wondering if anyone has done this, the stock exhaust is nice soudding and pretty free flowing and ive heard with just a swap of the muffler you get a lil hp, my question is has anyone just have the muffler from gm, angled or cut and put it on the stock exhaust, i mean it looks nice, sounds good from what ive heard and its not too expensive, i may do this instead of getting the whole exhaust system, just wanna see some opinions and ideas, thanks peeps
thats what i have i bought a skunk2 performance muffler and installed it>>trust me sounds real deep >>not like a ricer at all>> didnt feel any horsepower>>waiting for a vendor that makes a 3" cat-back>>was thinking to buy the manderal bent pipes and going custom>> still waiting and looking for a good performaqnce 3" cat-back>>just hate oval muflers >> i like canister look
Wouldnt you just be pissing away torque and not gaining any hp and gaining weight with a 3" system on such a small motor. My WS6 was just fine with a single 3" running 11.8x's on the bottle. Corky Bell's book on supercharging shows that 2.5 will support way more hp than anyone is going to ge making for a while.
im probably gonna get the gmpp cat back but i was just curious if you can put that muffler on the stock application, ahwell, from what ive heard about it, saw and from the sound clips it looks like im goin that route.
