GM's wheel hop kit or OTT'S Rotated Mounts

Do you guys think the axle's are necessary in the GM kit , or do u think that OTT's rotated tranny mount's would accomplish the same thing for less money?

I getting tired of some people bashing the SS/SC and want to lay down some decent passes without breaking the tranny case. Come spring time i want to be able to launch this car without worrying every pass.

At my power level i'm thinking the axle's should be fine , the only other things i might add are a HE and maybe a downpipe.

go with OTT's kit. a lot cheaper and quality parts. axles aren't necessary until you snap them. lol

Yup they will soon. Just announced it last week.

You can't beat OTT on price if the mounts do the exact same thing though.

go with the mounts, without wheel hop, you won't necessarily need axles. It's the hop that mainly snaps them, until you get into the 280-300whp on sticky tires..

You musta had to baby that thing outta the hole before these mounts.

like paul said it's the HOP that snaps axles, not the power. that being said, stock you have enough "power" to snap an axle.

work on your traction mods and eliminate that. the mounts help, and the springs are what sealed the deal. after i put the springs on, i just spin now, now hop.

oh I was pissed it rained for my last track day, I really want to get on the car out of the hole, pull a nice 1.8x 60' and hammer down. I never really have any wheel hop at the track regardless because of the tires I run, but I'm throwing on a set of mickey thompsons for my street tires now, so I definitely need them

I would go with the poly mounts man . More vibrations but it eventually goes away afer they break in .Axle shafts are a must but the Stage 2 DSS are $400 cheaper . Even with the poly mounts and Ingalls I still snapped my axle shaft. Get soem axle shafts and poly mounts from DSS and Intense and save yourself $400

with respect, I am repeating here that with ply mounts and an ingall you snapped an axle shaft....and i have to say to you i guess you don't get the rotation thing.

To be honest ive never thought about getting tranny mounts until i saw OTT's rotational stage 1's. I hate vibs and it looks like these are the cure for wheel hop. Thanks for all the reply's
