good or bad mod list

I've been asking people here and there about certain mods for the past few months. most of the people i asked were on here. so i figured i'd ask you's for some last advice. i came up with a pretty extensive mod list that i will get from now till the end of summer. please.. let me kno what you think. if theres anything missing please let me know.

1. GM stage II
2. 2.9 pulley(smoothflowpulleys.com)
3. Daul pass
4. Nitto invos(225/45-18r)
5. TTR motor mounts
6. TTR tranny mounts
7. Ingnalls stiffy torgue dampner
8. Injen intake
9. Hahns racecraft 3" full exhaust
10. Hurst short throw
(later on pistons,race cams,ported head?)

i think thats pretty much it. good? or no good?

I like it except for the 3 inch hahn all the way back. You lose lots of your top end with that. Now if you're planning on getting modded for over 300hp, then keep it, if not, make the cat back 2.5 I say.

If you have somone local that tunes, don't bother with the stg 2, just get the 42# injectors, 2.9 and stg 2 belt

I dont think you need the ITD. The mounts themselves should be enough.

I've heard nothing but good things about Tune Time Performance.. even though i live in Virginia, when it comes time for me to get a tune that's where I plan on going.

If your not going to get the hahn, you might want to look at ZZP for your header and downpipe.

My opinion for exhaust: ZZP mid length header w/ 1 3/4in. primaries, 3" mild steel dp catted w/ 2.5in. exit, 2.5in magnaflow cat-back

1. GM stage II
Dont bother. the gm tune sucks rectum. buy a stage 2 belt ($45), modular pulley($100), 42# injectors w/ harness ($200), and get someone with hptuners to give you a tune.

2. 2.9 pulley(smoothflowpulleys.com)
get pulley system from here if you wish. good stuff

3. Daul pass
if its just the endplate, dont bother. it does nothing and some believe it impedes coolant flow. if you want cooling, get a front mount h/e and or water/meth injection.

4. Nitto invos(225/45-18r)
too large. 225/40/18 or 215/45/18

5. TTR motor mounts
6. TTR tranny mounts
good stuff. but as with any mounts, it will give a good amt. of vibrations

7. Ingnalls stiffy torgue dampner
wont work with aftermarket upper engine mount, nor is it needed with one

8. Injen intake
ok

9. Hahns racecraft 3" full exhaust
overkill for any car making less than 300whp but wont really hurt anything

10. Hurst short throw
ok

(later on pistons,race cams,ported head?)
as you wish

. GM stage II
dont get this..i would say 60lbrs or 45lb injectors and a 2.8

2. 2.9 pulley(smoothflowpulleys.com)
i would get the pulley from intense racing..they seem to put alot into their pullies

3. Daul pass
i would say a h/e would do it for a 2.8 maybe meth

4. Nitto invos(225/45-18r)
not sure

5. TTR motor mounts
6. TTR tranny mounts
get this for sure..or go with the engine damper and just tranny mounts..

8. Injen intake
go with the fujita..its screams better and maybe the larger throttle body set up

9. Hahns racecraft 3" full exhaust
do not get this...go with header/dp combo from zzp..then replace the muffler with a straight through one(magnaflow)

I'd add some poly control arm bushings... since i put on motor & trans mount i can still wheel hope in 1st gear a little bit... but the poly control arms should stop it entirely. as for the dual pass just get the heat exhanger... it works better from what everyone says about the dual pass

oh... plus you may want to invest in some gauges... like aeroforce to moniter knock and iat's and wideband for a/f ratio both are important when you get tuned

2.8" will work with the stage 2 belt.
cobalt addiction HE or just get a cobra HE.
HP and 1/4 mile... it varies. usually 2.8 / 2.9 pullied cars are around the 250hp range give or take depending on supporting mods and tune. usually run high mid to high 13s depending on the same^

is the 250 to the wheels or to the crank. because after spending all this money i HOPE its to the wheels. i want atleast 300 to the crank. whatever it is, its better then 205 to the crank. but thanks for the advice.(this goes to everyone that has gave me advice on my mods. your highly appriciated)

Yall hate on the 3" hahn. I have both and ran both at the track with current mods. The differences are minimal. The car as is with the 3" went 13.81 @ 103.96 with a 2.2 60 ft do to massive lack of torque. Now I have the 2.5" megan and with same exact mods except the catback the car went 13.79 @ 104 with a 2.10 60 ft. Yes the full catback is way overkill and will destroy your low end power. Just putting the facts down.... With that said anyone need a 3" when I get a box for it to ship out haha?

I'm talking Wheel HP. and 250 is not a guarantee. all cars react different, all dynos read different, and all tracks are different. could be as low as 230, could be as high as 260 if you have a good tune and enough supporting mods.
