Will this one cool me down better than a stock H/E from a cobra?

I don't know how true it is but I've heard the stock cobra system is one of the best. Someone told me that one of the mags did a test and the stocker barely changed temps throughout the whole dyno beating when being compared to the others. Not sure if they're talking the system as a whole or just the h/e though.

for the balt, i think the stock cobra one is the best bet. it's already way over sized for the car, and the price is hard to beat.

just get the cobra HE and the bwoody brackets all for $150 and your intake temps will be down 15-20 degrees at WOT

what are you guys talking about? that fluidyne heat exchange is a triple pass design. the only one on the market as far as I know. There is a guy in a redline over on the redline forums that runs it and he says that after many hard wot high boost passes, it still feels like a bucket of ice. That is like the best heat exchanger you could get. It's the one I'm saving up for.

Most of the aftermarket HE's for the Cobra are too thick to fit between the bumper and the AC condensor.

Also the Cobra HE is only about 1" thick which is the optimal thicknes for an HE. Any thicker doesn't bennefit because the air gets too hot after passing through the first inch that it doesn't really remove anymore heat from the coolant. It just holds significantly more coolant so it takes longer to heat soak.
