Got my front poly Tranny Mount in today!
I finally recieved my front poly tranny mount today and I put it right in after supper. I just ordered the rear one because i didn't know you had to order 2. I noticed a big difference with just the one but the difference will be better with the rear to. I love how smooth the car feels. I will take some pics of it the next hay it is warm as well as my new michelin pilot sport 215/45R18's.

ha, yeah it will be smooth while the rear mount sucks up all the vibration. as soon as you put the rear one in get ready for some serious vibes. its not completely unbearable although the clutch becomes completely unforgiving i.e. any lil mistake and the car just jerks hard and vibrates horribly if you are at low rpm's trying to accelerate. i actually had to drill 4 1/2in holes in mine cause no matter how i tuned the car for 60lb injectors and a 2.8pulley i was always showing some false knock. now i have no wheel hop and the vibes are completely bearable

Hey Mike, I bought mine off ebay, thats where i'm getting my rear one, it was like $50 shipped to canada, not to bad.
so what did the holes do for you, cut down on some of the vibes?

the holes allow for open space in which vibration can be adsorbed and dissipated. so yes it seriously cut down on the vibes. which ones did you buy the prothane ones? i have the intense ones maybe the prothane ones are less dense. either way lmk how bad the vibes are maybe i will switch if they are'nt bad at all. driling the holes for me is not a perminent solution just had to prove my theory of false knock.

hey is it alright to just run a poly front trans mount while running the stock rear? the stock rear to scuk up the vibes?
i really need to stiffen up my motor as i have had the pain of wrecking one trans and i dont plan on haveing another go as it wont be under warranty this time.
