For now the motor is staying stock. When something breaks, then ill upgrade the internals. When that happens, ill go all out and port and polish the head and all that ****.

Looks good, what did one of those set you back?
It was $800 and change from hahn racecraft. It comes with a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty.

I was worried about this turbo being to big to fit between the motor and the firewall, but theres plenty of room back there.Im just waiting for the manifold to arrive.I had him put the flange on a different spot on the manifold so id have more room to mount the turbo.Ill post pics of the manifold when i get it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that the spot welded plug is there in case you would like to go to an external wasgate setup with a dump. I found some threads where people were talking about welding the flapper shut and then setting up an external gate. I don't know for sure as I said but that seems to be the logical answer.

Ok,well i got the ebay manifold today.I have to bring it to a machine shop to have the flange tapped for the studs, and to have them check the flanges to make sure there not warped.I ordered a bov as well,an hks ssqv.Theres still some more **** i need before i start the install.I gotta clean that damn rust off the turbo. It was sitting in my trunk for 2 days and it looks like ****.

Parts look nice, who is going to be fabbing the charge pipes for you? Are you using a front mount also? Or just using the stock intercooler setup? I know alot of Cobra guys actually remove the water/air intercooler manifold and use an 01 Cobra b/c they say that the air/air front mount cools the air so much that the water/air will acually heat the air more!

Im gonna try to do all the fabing of the pipes myself. For now im using the stock intercooler setup. When i get everything hooked up and running properly,im gonna see if i can get my hands on a regular intake manifold, and hook up my front mount.I have a spearco intercooler sitting in my closet for the past 2 years.Ill probably end up using that.Or ill run the front mount with the stock intercooler.I dont know yet.

On the intake pipe going into the turbo.Ill probably buy one of those cheap ass intakes from ebay cause it has the fitting for the maf sensor.Ill just cut it and make a custom intake.Or if i can find a weldable maf fitting, this way i can jus weld it onto my intake.

Why wouldnt it work? Its not like im buying a turbo kit from a different car and hoping it will fit.Everything is custom. As long as you have the correct turbo manifold, theres no reason why it wouldnt work.
