the griffin radiator would replace the stock h/e for the cobalt and it would not allow any room for the A/C H/E.

Does it also eliminate the need for a Cobra H/E ? what is better to have the griffin or the h/e?

The Griffin will probably be better since its one system instead of two separate heat exchangers which requires more hosing and probably causes increase in pressures causing reduction in pump flow. But, everyone does the cobra H/E because it allows you to still run air conditioning and its easier to do and bolt right up to the system.

Also, cobra h/e isn't the best setup for hose ducting, get an aftermarket h/e like cxracing, silicone intakes, cobalt-addiction or anything with the ports out the sides that also subsequently has larger surface area and is more efficient.
